The transformation of the existing food court creates an immersive environment designed to appeal to a broad range of visitors, from families to students. Central to the design is the introduction of an aquarium, which serves as a captivating focal point, adding both visual interest and a sense of tranquility to the space. This striking feature enhances the vibrancy of the food court, drawing people in and creating a dynamic, engaging atmosphere. The overall design fosters a welcoming and lively environment, encouraging social interaction while providing a unique, sensory experience for all.
Dynamic visual anchors
Suspended above the food court is a striking blue sculptural frame artwork, creating a dynamic visual anchor for the space. Complementing this, coffers filled with cascading greenery introduce a natural, calming element, enhancing the immersive, escapist atmosphere. The design encourages visitors to disconnect from the busy surroundings and experience a moment of tranquility. Additionally, large glass pendant lights hang above the banquettes, which line the glazing, offering views over Kellicar Lane. Combined, the features come together to create a vibrant, and immersive environment that invites both relaxation and exploration.

Escalator Upgrade & Mall Furniture
In collaboration with Indigenous artist Rhonda Sampson, Code Design embarked on an upgrade of the centre court escalators and hero furniture pods, incorporating custom-designed rugs. This partnership infused the space with a unique, authentic local identity, celebrating the cultural richness of the area. The bespoke rugs, alongside the redesigned escalators and furniture, elevate the precinct’s atmosphere, creating a deeper connection to the community and offering visitors a more immersive and meaningful experience.
